Absolutely! Long-term surveillance operations, those that are conducted upon a subject who is likely to suspect that he is being investigated, and those that involve following a subject from an airport or other large congested location where many different transportation alternatives exist, or in heavy traffic situations. All may make multiple investigator surveillance operations an absolute necessity.

Are electronic tracking devices useful in conjunction with surveillance investigations?

These devices are useful for some investigative efforts, and completely useless for others. While these devices are particularly useful in allowing the investigator to remain at a greater distance from a subject's vehicle while mobile, they also limit the investigator's ability to maintain contact with the subject once he parks and exits the vehicle. Additionally, there are specific laws that must be followed when using GPS Tracking devices.

Can you guarantee that you won't lose a person while conducting surveillance?

Again, while we always conduct an investigation in the most professional manner possible, it is impossible to provide any guarantee. Anyone who tells you, "We have never lost a person while conducting surveillance" is a liar. The simple truth is, people are unpredictable, traffic is unpredictable, and surveillance is unpredictable. An experienced professional investigator minimizes the risk of a subject being 'lost', but nobody can guarantee that will never occur.

What if the subject of the investigation drives in a reckless manner or seriously violates traffic speed laws?

Rather than risking the investigator being observed by the subject of the investigation, or worse, becoming involved in a traffic collision, our investigator will discontinue surveillance once it is determined that continuing would endanger himself, the subject, or the public. No investigation is worth someone getting injured or killed.
